Adoption

Children currently in need of adoption

Forever families. That’s what children receive from families eager to open their hearts and homes through adoption. In these families, children in the foster care system, wounded from neglect, abuse, and abandonment, experience the healing and love of Christ-centered families.

Children available through our state system are older school age children. The state has a dire need for families who are open to older children, teens, and sibling groups. Through our classes families will come to understand the birth families and children the state works with and learn of the special opportunities a family has to minister hope and healing to these children. Families adopting infants honor the decision of birthparents to choose life, maintaining an open adoption covenant and giving a baby the security of a loving, Christian family.

For more than 25 years, Christian Family Care has helped families like yours connect with children and infants needing a forever family. From first steps in exploring adoption to big steps in welcoming home a child, Christian Family Care is there every step of the way, connecting lives… hearts… futures!

Ready To Make the Connection?

Becoming an adoptive parent begins by taking the first step. Here’s how to begin:

  • Request an adoption information packet.
  • Complete and return the initial paperwork included in the packet.
  • Families wishing to continue the process will meet with a caseworker for an initial assessment and to answer any additional questions.

Those wishing to continue with the process work with a caseworker to complete the following steps:

  • Have their fingerprints taken.
  • Schedule a medical exam for each adult.
